Friday night - Afternoon & Dinner in Philly?

Also, it seems Philadelphia Brewing only offers tours on Saturdays, unfortunately...

Friday night - Afternoon & Dinner in Philly?

This sounds interesting. I'm unsure about how much time I'll have to spend walking around, so let me pose you this question: Is it safe to walk around these parts of Philly? (Spring Garden Street, N Front street, Frankford Ave) I tend to enjoy walking around cities I'm not in very often. If I go to Johnny Brendas, I'm thinking it's safer to take the El back to the hotel at least?

What do you think?

Friday night - Afternoon & Dinner in Philly?

Hi folks!

Looking for some suggestions from you... Hoping to find something like a brewery tour in Philly, as well as a place for dinner?

Staying at the Hampton Inn @ Convention Center - 1301 Race St... Prefer thing in walking distance, but don't mind longer walks.

I'm hoping to find a good "guy's afternoon" activity like a Brewery tour or something like that, to fill some time later in the day?

Lastly, looking for some place fun for a late dinner - thinking something like a gastro-pub or anything like this... More on the casual side, but still some great local food and drink if possible.

Thanks in advance, everyone!

Downtown Chicago - Good dinner with a child

Hey everyone:
I'm going to be spending a night in Chicago in a few weeks... Looking for some good advice for lunch and dinner?

Travelling with my 5-year old, but she is an open-minded eater, okay with seafood, etc.

looking for recommendations for a pizza place for lunch, and something for dinner as well.

The pizza I'm not too worried about as I understand many places are pretty casual anyway. Obviously looking for a legit 'Chicago-Style' place. :)

For dinner, looking for something that is not a 'chain' restaurant, but would still have some kid-friendly options/portions.

Thanks everyone!

Good food shopping near/in Kissimmee area?

Hmm, thinking by the lack of responses that there might not be so many good options there. What about, Southern Orlando area?

Good food shopping near/in Kissimmee area?

Going to be staying in Kissimmee area for a week in April... In a condo with a full kitchen. Hoping to find a good place to shop for local seafood, good produce, and even a good butcher shop? Also any recommendations for a cheese shop or wine store would also be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

Good food relatively close to Ford Field?

Looking for a great place to eat near Ford Field. Going to my first NFL game next week and looking for a good place to go and have dinner after the game.

Pretty open about the type of food really - not looking for fine dining though.

Doesn't really have to be too close to the stadium - don't mind driving a bit.

Thanks folks!

Visting Cape Canaveral - Places to shop for Food?

Hey, this looks great! Thanks so much! I'm definitely going to visit this store when I get down there.

Would you recommend the selection here for wines over ABC? (Or, do you know a better place?)

Visting Cape Canaveral - Places to shop for Food?

My family and I are visiting Cape Canaveral in April for about a week. We're renting a condo so I'll have a kitchen to use.

In the past I've always had great luck finding fresh fish/shrimp at the port, so that part I'm pretty comfortable with, unless you have a specific place you'd recommend.

However I'm hoping to find a good butcher shop in the area if anybody knows of one? Otherwise, any recommendations on places to shop for groceries, preferably a place with good selection of produce and maybe imported cheese? I've had trouble with that in the past.

Let me know if you have any tips!

Thanks,

Mike
