Grand Prix Weekend
We will be in Montreal with our 11-year old for Grand Prix weekend. We are looking for casual bistro and Italian restaurants with decent food. Because of child, we will be eating early (6-6:30), which should help. We know that restaurants will be very crowded and the prices go up. We are hoping to find something with entrees around $20. We will be staying at Ruby Foo's hotel - perhaps it would be easier to eat near the hotel than near the track. Thanks for any suggestions.
Need to get out of NYC on my birthday
You don't need a car to get to Mohonk as if you make arrangements ahead of time, they will send someone to pick you up at the bus station and you certainly won't want to leave the property while you are there as it is so beautiful. That doesn't solve the "well-priced" issue, though!
Need suggestion for christening after party
Perhaps Osteria Laguna on 42nd between 2nd & 3rd or Cibo on 2nd Ave by 41st. I believe they both get most of their business during the week, so they may be accommodating for a weekend lunch.
Lunch for 10-20 pp near W. 72nd
I am looking for a restaurant which would accept a reservation for 10-20 pp on Sunday, October 18 around 1pm following the Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk in Central Park. The Walk finishes on the West side of the Park near 72nd, so ideally in close proximity. For this crowd, reasonable prices would be more important than great food. Thanks for any suggestions.
