How Many Cookies for a Festival?
Thanks CookieGal! That totally helped. I think you answered all my questions! I was thinking of doing 3 kinds: oatmeal/raisin, chocolate chip and a pumpkin (as it is a fall festival). Good idea to stay away from the nuts - a lot of people are allergic to them. I will check to see if we can sell the cookies as a dessert service on a plate and go from there. What was the name of your wholesale cookie factory that you sold? Maybe I'll have some business for them. I am also thinking about doing orders for a gluten free cookie in the near future as a lot of my family has to eat gluten free (including myself) and I'm running into more and more people that have to eat gluten free. How Many Cookies for a Festival?
I would like to bake cookies for a festival and make a profit of $7,000. This is to raise funds for a non-profit organization. The festival is a one day event and 30,000 people come through. Any suggestions on what type of cookie/s and especially how many I should bake (with help, of course!)?
