Fun SF restaurant for a group of 12 twenty somethings
I just went to Kokkari and they have large tables in their back room (near the Kitchen, not the private room). Their food is Greek- lamb, squid, roast fish, amazing feta. The food is pretty great, you can get a bunch of appetizers to share $8-13) or a few apps and mains ($15-25). The best thing is that it is really loud and fun. When I am there I tend to be amazed at how much fun everyone around me is having. Make a reservation.
Specialty cake in Bay Area
Masse's just about any custom cake that you can imagine. I have seen cakes they have made in the shape of peacocks, steam engines, famous sculptures, a shirt and even a wetland with birds and plants. Just give them enough of a head start. Their cakes taste even better than they look and they look incredible.
