In Manhattan, Sunday, March 15 for a midday meeting with 2 scholars. One is very hard of hearing and we need a quaint quiet place. This is about spreading our stuff out on a table and making decisions for an upcoming project we're working on.
Suggestions please on where to eat. We're from Atlanta, Philly, and London, so we're open. One in the group is a vegan, but the other two are open to anything. Not looking for a fancy, pricey Sunday brunch place. Earthy, and casual, and again, very quiet, if that's possible.
Many thanks in advance for all your suggestions.
Since there are 5 of us, our tastes will vary so continental cuisine that has fish meat and chicken are probably best.
Neighborhood Midtown/Chelsea/Greenich Village; however I'd tell everyone to just show up regardless of the neighborhood if this was a place for our UK guest to eat at and be "wowed!"
Price range - Ideally under $60/person including a glass of wine. $45-50/person without wine. Thanks.
I'm in your great city for a business meeting this Saturday, October 4.
5 of us art professionals are meeting and in need of a quiet but great value restaurant so we can have our own productive and lively conversation. One of us is from the UK. Two of us are New Yorkers; the others are from Atlanta.
Any recommendations? A non-profit is covering the meal so great value is important.
It need not be swanky, indeed preferably laid-back, as it’s the food that counts, and adequate wine.
