Thanks. Since they don't qualify for Meals on Wheels in NY, we're trying DineWise http://www.dinewise.com They deliver flash-frozen meals with a 4-minute microwave time. So far, so good.

My parents are starving in Bayside! Can you recommend a meal preparation service?

My mom is world renown for drying out EVERYTHING she cooks. (Hey, don’t laugh. I grew up in that house!) My dad, paralyzed from a stroke, now coughs on her cooking because he has mild dysphagia, meaning everything he eats needs to be tender and juicy to assist his swallowing.

What they really need is a meal preparation service---or a local personal chef with a functional kitchen---who can prepare and bring 7 juicy, nutritious homecooked meals in plastic containers to them in Bayside each week.

Please post any suggestions that might be right for my folks, or for any concerned sons and daughters of stay-at-home seniors who are underfed, undernourished, but certainly not under-loved.
