Looking for a restaurant for a 16-20 person dinner
I had my husband's birthday dinner at AOC last year and it was a wonderful experience. I think there were about 12-14 of us. The service was amazing, there were plenty of vegetarian options, and the atmosphere was really fun and relaxed.
Buche de Noel on the East Side?
I am looking for a buche de Noel/yule log somewhere on the east side. We live in Highland Park, and I'd like to not have to go much further than Pasadena/Glendale/Downtown/Los Feliz if possible. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Nice Bar near Bix?
I've heard of Vesuvio but guess I didn't realize it was so close. Sounds like just the right place.
Thanks for the tip on SF Brewing Co. as well. Maybe we'll hit that too, for a late afternoon beer over the weekend.
Nice Bar near Bix?
Oh, should have said that we will be walking to Bix from Telegraph Hill, so anywhere along the way would be fine.

Nice Bar near Bix?
We are visiting from LA for a long weekend and are staying in the Telegraph Hill area. We have a reservation at Bix one night at 8:30 and would love to grab a drink on our way to dinner. We aren't huge cocktail people–––more wine-oriented, though my hubby likes good/interesting beer as well. Good ambiance is always appreciated. Any ideas?

Looking for Telegraph Hill area coffee/breakfast places (kid-friendly)
I believe Mama's is a favorite of some friends of ours too! If we can convince the baby to sleep in one morning maybe we'll meet them at Mama's at 8!
Looking for Telegraph Hill area coffee/breakfast places (kid-friendly)
Thanks so much for this. We're arriving on a Thursday and staying through Sunday afternoon, so I guess that will limit us a bit. Cafe Roma sounds great for coffee. I NEED amazing coffee if I'm going to be up that early. Maybe we'll grab coffee to go from Cafe Roma and pastries at La Boulange and take the whole spread to the nearest park...
Looking for Telegraph Hill area coffee/breakfast places (kid-friendly)
My hubby and I will be visiting from LA in November with our nine-month old daughter and will be staying in the Telegraph Hill area (right by Coit Tower). Because of the baby we tend to be early risers, so we'd love some recommendations for good places to get coffee in the area as early as 6:30 or 7. Would also love recommendations for breakfast. We're not big/hot breakfast oriented, so something on the simpler side (oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, pastry - that kind of stuff) is preferred. We don't need kid-centric places either (not looking for play areas necessarily, though that's surely a plus). Just want places where the occasional squeal or dropped cheerio won't bum out all of the other patrons.
We're game for exploring the neighborhood on foot so would certainly be open to surrounding areas (North Beach, Russian Hill, etc.).
Thanks so much!
