The subject line says it all. I'm looking for a place close to 15th and 6th to host a rehearsal dinner for a wedding (kids included). I'm hoping for something universally accessible but also affordable. Any recommendations?

Cake places in NYC?
Can't go wrong with Veniero's in the East Village. It's a bit hyped, but it's been in business forever and they have a nice variety. For something smaller, there's a great bakery on the corner of 27th and 3rd that has some really great cakes. Family owned.
