Sister's weekend in Kansas City

My recommendation would be for an early lunch (brunch) at Andre's. It's near the Plaza and just the perfect venue for a sisters' lunch. Andre's is a Swiss tearoom, and just delightful. I'd then recommend dinner at Michael Smith's or Extra Virgin (related), they are both fantastic. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside at Extra Virgin. enjoy, annie

Anyone remember this Chinese restaurant in Phoenix?

I'm trying to remember the name of a Chinese restaurant in Phoenix that we used to go to in the late 1970's, and wondering if it is still there. I don't recall exactly where it is, except I'm quite sure it was in a business area of Phoenix. The main thing I recall was that each table had a lazy susan in the middle with condiments you could use. It was a moderatly priced, family owned, restaurant always busy with business folk at lunch.

Any ideas? And, is it still open?

KC BBQ recommendations

We enjoy all of them, but I like Jack Stack. DH loves Bryant's. I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned Gate's.
