Take the light rail south a couple of stops and try The Liberty. Always a great beer selection and the food is pretty good too in my opinion.

Need Recs from Wynn afficionados
I really enjoy The Country Club for lunch. We also we really enjoy Society Cafe. The only other restaurant we have been to at Wynn/Encore was Switch and it was just ok. The restaurant "switching" was kind of cool but the food was pretty generic.

my only beef with Customshop is they are sooooo slow. Food was really, really great but for what we ordered it should have been an hour and a half meal from sit down to out the door. We were there for almost 4 hours. I don't know if that particular night they were short staffed or what but it was not busy (only 5 tables were occupied) and in fact, one of those tables got up and left because it was taking so long. On the way out he told the guy running the front of the house that this was the 3rd time they had been in and service had been slow every time and they would not be back.
I would definitely go back because the food was great (and they served up one of the best whiskey sours I've ever had!) but only if time is not a factor.

Brand Steakhouse at the Monte Carlo- Anybody know about it?
we ate their late night on time during our trip last year and it was great. it is right off the casino but we could care less about the view. we didn't notice the smell of smoke coming in from the casino either. is it better than say CUT or some place like that, no, but if you are staying at Monte Carlo or next door it is a great option

Wolf Brand Chili Clone
I like how every time someone mentions Wolf Brand Chili, STPP is brought up like it is the only food in the world that contains it... what about all the other foods that have STPP in it? preservatives are used in A LOT of foods, especially canned.

I always get the open face french dip with fries which, in my opinion, is the best thing I have ever eaten. I just love that sandwich. My wife has had several other items from the lunch menu and has really enjoyed them all. Sitting outside is always a treat for me if the weather is nice. Their patio overlooks the waterfall and 18th green. We are headed back for lunch during our next trip in June.

The Country Club is one of my favorites in Vegas so I'd recommend them for lunch, especially if you are staying at the Wynn.
