arthur avenue

Chicken scarpariello is always served on the bone.

Flagel-late Me!!!

If you get there fairly early, they have 'em. Fairway's flagel's are quite good. They do all their own baking - bagels are close to H & H.

Dinner in Midtown, Maybe Near Penn Station?

Second Uncle Nicks. Never been to this one but the one on 9th ave around 50th street is a favorite.

Chinatown walking tour

I would recommend the cold sesame noodles at Excellent Dumpling House on 111 Lafayette St (between Canal St & Walker St). Not the pasty peanut-butter style but a lighter, absolutely addictive noodle.

So much for Arthur Ave.. where's the Italian??

I can't speak to how it will transport you to what, in all your senses, says "authentic" but if you want elegantly, carefully prepared delicious Italian food, go around the corner to Roberto's. You will not be disappointed.
