Rumi - what happened???
Went to Rumi on St-Laurent for the first time since it reopened, only to find out that they have completely changed the menu. Fries and burgers dominate the menu. Very sad.
La Faim du Monde no more?
Walked past la Faim du Monde on St-Denis a few days ago and noticed that's it's for rent! How sad? Anybody have have any news?

Mon Nan in Chinatown, but make sure it's the upstairs one. Steamed veg dumplings to die for.

More wedding/catering suggestions?
We're recently engaged and would like to have a small reception in Montréal (read: no more than 20) but would like to have good food....at a good price. Also, need real vegetarian options, since half of wedding party is veg. What would be an intimate, different location in Montréal? We've thought of Rumi's so far. Merci!
