Dog Friendly in Bryan/College Staion

Heading through B/CS & looking for a dinner stop with kids & the dog. Assume we need patio dining. Any ideas?

Monday Night Dinner for One - Bar Seating or Raw Bar

I'm at Maven on a friend's recommendation. Good start so far.

Monday Night Dinner for One - Bar Seating or Raw Bar

I'm alone in SF before my flight after a weekend in Napa. I'm looking for a nice bar with good food & people-watching. Any suggestions?

Table for One in Queens or Brooklyn

Thanks for the suggestion, Bob.

I posted a similar question on the Manhatten Board and, unsurprisingly, was asked for similar clarification! Here's some guidance:

Budget is not much of a concern, probably under $100-$150 with drinks.

For cuisine, I'm looking for innovation & creativity. I tend to avoid places using traditional definitions (ie Italian, French, Thai) as I've been able to experience most of those in their native countries. Not opposed a great example or an exotic cuisine that's hard to find outside NY.

I don't mind driving or taking a cab a fair distance. I like to explore and I have time on my hands.

I like bustling scenes. It's a good chance to make conversation & people watch.

For reference, my recent Manhattan meals (over 4-5 years) have included Ssam Bar, Daniel, Momofuku Ko, Babbo, Balthazar.

I'm actually staying near LGA, so Queens & Brooklyn are on my radar too (I have another CH post out there for those areas). I'm OK on the train or cab into Manhattan if there's a worthwhile destination.

Table for One

I'm in NYC for business next Wednesday, traveling alone. Any recommendations on an interesting meal with a vibe that's good solo?

I'm staying near La Guardia next Wednesday at the end of a business trip. Any recommendations? M. Well is closed Wednesday's.

I have a car & a cab is fine, too.

East Texas Lunch Stop

We did find a winner, on the recommendation of a friend: KT's Sea Food Grill in Rusk. Excellent fried fish, shrimp, & crawfish.

East Texas Lunch Stop

We're driving from Austin to Caddo Lake on Friday, and we're looking for a good lunch stop. We're flexible on routing, so anything between Waco & Tyler is good.

Captain Sid's in Metarie

Finally got in touch with them & made my order. Best crawfish seasoning I've ever had. Worth the hassle to ship to Austin.

Captain Sid's in Metarie

We've ordered boil spice from Captain Sid's in Metairie for the last 15 years. They've always been a bit flaky, but now they're not answering the phone at all.

Is Captain Sid's still in business? Any quirkiness of their hours I need to know about?

Need fried chicken/home cooking near I-10 in AL, MS, or E. LA

We're heading back to Austin after a week at the beach. Lunchtime will put us on I-10 in the small chunks of AL & MS, or just sneaking into LA.

Any recommendations for great fried chicken or home cooking? We can get BBQ back in Texas....
