Horseradish question

Last year was not a particular good year for horseradish roots. some areas had a very week root so there was nothing you could do to make it stronger unless you added something to it that was very hot.
This year it seems that it is much stronger.

Just so you know, I believe that light olive oil, even extra virgin, requires a passover certification.

Stick margarine for pesach this year?

The reason for having only the blocks available is not due to the price. The main reason is that the manufacturer of the sticks did not make a Passover run so they go to another manufacturer but they only make the blocks.

is medium rare hamburger kosher?

It probably all started many years ago when everyone wanted the "end piece" of the rib roast and all the meats had to be burnt beyond recognition.
The younger generation has learned that medium rare is usually tastier and much juicier, and it's still kosher!

Kosher certified soba/buckwheat noodles

I checked with the CRC and was told that Buckwheat noodles do not need kosher certification as long as there are no ingredients added that may not be kosher. Most of these noodles are only buckwheat and water and perhaps salt so those would all be fine.

Is Kahlua bottled in Mexico kosher again???

I find it amazing and entertaining to read most of the replies to this topic as many of them are just plain false!
First, the CRC in Chicago clearly states that if it states on the label that it is BOTTLED IN MEXICO, then it is fine.
Others may have kashrus issues and it is not always yayin nesech. it could be other ingredients such as flavors, nothing hockus pockus. The CRC has actually gone there to inspect the factory. There is presently an effort to have it certified kosher.
