I had my favorite meal back home in Charleston, SC. My good friends and I started with a cold, succulent tuna tartar and some fresh, in-season shrimp as our appetizer. We followed the seafood apps with a traditional caesar salad tossed with an excellent ceasar dressing prepared table side for our enjoyment. For an entree, I had a flawlessly cooked Chateaubriand prepared on the rarer side of medium rare - the beef was top notch. I finished with a light, delicious vanilla bean creme brulee. We paired all of these dishes with the excellent wine selected from the vast vault available at Cypress. Great company with a perfectly executed meal proved to be the right combination, as I vividly recall the meal some five years later!
