Downeast Maine - What's still open after Columbus Day?
We will be in Maine for a week starting Oct 16th. Staying Downeast (Steuben/Petit Manan). I've found some great reccomendations searching the board:
Southern Charm
Joshy’s
Ruth & Wimpy's
Chase's
Tall Barney's
Chester Pike's
Wildflour
The question is, are any of these places year round? If they are seasonal, anyone know when they close? Any other suggestions for places that will be open during this time?
I've heard Jordan's is not closing until Oct 25th, so that's on my list. My first stop leaving the airport will be at the Coffee Pot. Hope they still have some left on Friday around 1:30. We will also hit Finelli's in Ellsworth once, as the Wife loves Pizza as much as I love Haddock and Clams.
My Dad has always raved about Helens in Machias. I've also seen Blue Bird mentioned on the board. If i;m only doing one, which is best?
Might also hit up Eastport. Any reccomndations there?
Finally (not food related) Do you need a passport now to go to Campobello?
