Sad to say, Bauer's has been sold to an Indian patissier. Gone are the German specialties.

Stamatis is pretty bad these days. I used to get a lot of take out food and got to know the guys behind the counter pretty well. They now waive off most of the items I ask for and just direct me towards a pasticchio or mousaka. They might as well waive me out the door.

Saturday Brunch in Queens?
Tournesol has really gone bad. I ordered a steak frites my last time there and it was unchewable. It was like chewing on a rubber tire. Not good. Manducatis Rustica is much better.

Saturday Brunch in Queens?
I had brunch there and it was pretty bad. The staff is hopeless and the food is very mediocre -- just like Astoria!
