Napa: Breakfast at Alexis Baking Company
Alexis is one of the most overrated and disappointing of the Napa
""cutesy"' set.
Yuppies abound, but a local rarely crosses the step to go into
the hot crowded interior. And the food, 'forget it.'

Masa, Coi, or Michael Mina
My wife and I both agreed that Michale Mina's was horrible,
the space, the noise, the food , the service, and particularly
the price.
Stay Away.
Dinner before Wicked at the Orpheum?
Stay away from Michale Mina's at the Westin St Francis, really overrated, lousy food.
Morton's always has a good steak, and a really fun place with good food is Scala's nearby.

Best stuck-in-the-past restaurants?
I wen to Bancheros the other day, the food was not edible, it was really bad,
it may have been teher for some time, but it was not good, great Italian places
were Ruffino's and the Depot both closed now, both in Napa.
My favorite old world place will, however, remain my secret it is already too.

By the way, a new world place Michale Mina's at the Westin St francis, sucks.
