Best meal I ever ate:
How could I pick just one?
My current drink of choice:
I really wish I could:
Go back to Paris for a month and eat everything in sight!
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Roast pork butt, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots with raisins and tarragon, Caesar Salad and baklava for dessert.
My favorite comfort food:
Sourdough bread toasted with brie.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
S & T Hong Kong Seafood for dim sum, Joe's of Westlake for Calamari steak and Steak Bruno, Jamie's in Sacramento for smoked prime rib, Piquante in Berkeley for tamales.
My most tattered cookbooks:
Both Julia Child & Company cookbooks, Ada Boni's Italian Regional Cooking, Claudia Rodin's A Book of Middle Eastern Cooking, and I absolutely wore out my Joy of Cooking that I got as a wedding present in 1966.
