Can anyone tell me where in Toronto to get back bacon on a bun (not peameal)?

I have had a back bacon sandwich (NOT PEAMEAL) at a local Midtown Deli/Bakery called Hillsdale 594 Mt. Pleasant Road, delicious!

Ideas? Need a Venue for Birthday dinner for late 20's-30's something crowd that still likes to party

Will look into Blowfish and Supermarket. I prefer to stay away from Queen West. Thanks for your suggestions syoung!

Quick takeout lunch at Yonge-Bloor

I second Scaccia, great place for sandwiches and pasta.

I would also suggest Holtz Cafe, you would have to be their by 12:00, any later the sandwiches would be all gone. I like it at Holtz because they will put the focaccia sandwiches on the grill and toast it up really nice, with olive oil and salt and pepper.

In the cumberland plaza on the main floor there is a great Indian Take out place. If I can recall correctly it is called Mom's Kitchen, it's by Marquis Jewelry. Their Curry Chicken Roti is delicious and GREAT homemade soups.

I need ideas for a place to hold a large birthday party for a group that is in their late 20's-mid 30's. Quite of few of us enjoy food (hence why I am on chowhound). We need a venue/restaurant that can seat 20-30 of us for dinner and then perhaps will turn into a lounge, small dance floor would be nice.

Places that have come to mind:

C5
Ultra Supper Club
Sassafraz

I have not been to the above restaurants for awhile so any feedback would be great. Additional suggestions would be much appreciated.

SWATOW IS DEFINITELY OPENED!!!!

I just wanted to clarify this for us Swatow Fans. They are DEFINITELY opened. I was just there yesterday for lunch and last Friday after a late night. I love their won ton and shrimp dumpling soup and shrimp paste stuffed tofu/bean curd and hot peppers...drools. :)
