It is DEFINITELY the Bluebonnet Diner in Northampton, Ma.. Off I-91 on King Street.

I agree with Bubs, great spot for BBQ and the kids will like it. also agree with Websters Fish Hook and how about Butterfly (Chinese) right over the bridge in Hadley. I like Carmelinas for nice Italian, also just over the coolidge bridge.

aahh..Joe's...gotta love it. have you tried the mozzarella..so good, big slabs of mozzy with homemade marinara..yum..spanish clams are yummy too. well worth the stop in 'Hamp!
Hotdogs in western MA
The hot dog place next to Look Park is Scotties, located on Route 9 just north of the park. Insanely good hot dogs, footlongs, steamed, in a buttered toasted bun , hand cut skin-on french fires,,too bad they are closed for the season. weekend specials include steamers, fried oysters, fried clams (available summer only) Great spot. They also have ice cream and a driving range. they re-open early spring.

Finding kitchen supply stores?
Have you tried Gillett Restaurant Equipment? They have 2 locations - Main Street North Brookfield, Ma and Route 5 in Holyoke, Ma. They have new and used items. The N. Brookfield store is a trip in-itself - packed with items! They have a web site - but does not go into detail about the quanity of items they have in thier stores.
Northampton -- What not to miss?
A short trip up to Florence to the Great Wall is worth the drive. They have dim sum on Sat 11am-2pm. Thier gourmet menu is great. I have not been to Butterfly yet, but it sounds good too. Dinner - try Carmelina's in Hadley, just over the bridge. Great Italian. I enjoy eating at the bar solo watching the open kitchen. Side Street Cafe in Florence is also a nice spot for lunch or dinner. I agree with the others, Green Street is tasty and Chez Albert is nice as well. The Brewery has decent beer but not so great food. If you like sushi, then head to Osaka (right in town) the best for miles around! Breakfast - Jakes.

fantastic food, casual atmosphere near 91 in western Mass?
Carmelina's. Route 9 - Hadley, Ma Great Italian food, very casual. Only minutes from I-91. Anywhere in Northampton will be a wait -up to 1hour or more on a Sat nite - no reservations taken at many places. Enjoy!
