Visiting SF ~ cute yummy bakery in Union Sq?

i second crepe o chocolate. i've just been there and they have a wonderful hazelnut macaroon there if you're into chocolate. their hot chocolate is also reaaalllyyy rich (also for chocolate lovers). the crepes are buckwheat crepes and are really nice warm and filling, and they're great for those cold sf mornings.

The Ultimate PB&J: What's your preference?

ooooh man, these all sound so good =D I have yet to try the PB at wholefoods, but I am planning on getting some this weekend if not today. I think i forgot to mention that i am a HUGE PB nut, and any suggestions for amazingly good natural style PB I'd be able to find in the San Diego area (including chain supermarkets) would be VERY much appreciated!

The Ultimate PB&J: What's your preference?

PB&J, it's a classic. What's your take on this sandwich?

My preference: Laura Scudder's Old Fashioned Unsalted PB on thickly sliced white bread from the local bakery with banana slices and strawbery jam.

Oh man, so good. I could live off this stuff forever =D.

Any interesting non-bread ideas for a surplus of bananas?

my guilty pleasure: peanut butter, banana, and jelly sandwiches =D with old fashioned, unsalted peanut butter and extra jelly... oh man...

Any interesting non-bread ideas for a surplus of bananas?

Banana pudding! Mash one banana into vanilla pudding mix, layer with nilla wafers and banana slices, and you've got an amazing banana pudding! tastes even better the next day when the nilla wafers are a little soft, and topped with whipped cream

Delivery in UCSD/La Jolla area

So it's Monday, I've just gotten home from a long day of work and school, and my fridge has got nothing in it but salad dressing and water. I am way too tired (plus I'm car-less) to walk/bus it to the nearest source of food, and (it's pretty sad) I'm half hoping that if I wish hard enough, food will appear on the table in front of me. So fellow chowhounders, do you have any recommendations for places that deliver (preferably for free)? Pizza I know is an obvious choice, but I'm also looking for Indian, Thai, Chinese, Mediterranean, etc. Something interesting, and relatively cheap (I am a college student after all).

Chicken feet at a Chinese restaurant -- I don't get it

I would say badly prepared!! Chicken feet if done correctly are wonderfully succulent, rich, and flavorful. It should not be rubbery or tough and there should be a good bit of soft/tender tendon surrounding the bone. If you ever find yourself on the west coast, you should try a place in San Francisco on 41st avenue in the outer Richmond. It's this hole in the wall dim sum place with amazingly authentic Chinese food. I highly recommend the Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce.
