Good cheap food near Paramount in Denver

Hi - I am going to see a show at the paramount on Thursday. Are there any good, inexpensive (less than 18pp) restaurants nearby? Preferably within walking distance? I am open to any cuisine really.
Thanks.

5 Days to Eat Good & Cheap in San Diego

Hey People
I was really hoping for you to tell me about where to eat. I get it that where I am staying doesnt have much to offer. I am happy to take public transportation. I didnt really post to hear all about the pathetic neighborhood my hotel is in. I want to know where to EAT!
Thanks in advance and thanks Cathy & Stevuchan

5 Days to Eat Good & Cheap in San Diego

Hi there
I dont know what Town and Country is but the convention is at the Convention Center. I dont care about traveling around. Would you say that the trolly is most efficient for the price with the most coverage? I am looking for some good street carts or Brew Pubs- any recommendations? I am looking through the beer week site, looks like that will provide plenty of entertainment.

5 Days to Eat Good & Cheap in San Diego

Hi!
I am visiting the city next Friday through the following Tuesday (leaving on wed). I will eat pretty much anything and would like to know the best spots for good cheap bites and a couple of nicer mid-range dinners. Each year I follow my partner to the Neuroscience conference wherever it is int he US. He geeks and I eat! I am reading tons of stuff on the board, but would love any current info esp relating those specific dates.

I lvoe street food, gastro pubs, bars with great food etc. I like good beer, and think happy hour is just grand. I will not have a car, but I will get a train pass. I am staying near the Kumeyaay freeway.

Cheers!!

Chicago Foodie Marathon 4 days - big aspirations - need advice!

Any other BBQ options closer to downtown? Smoque looks great, but it is too far. We wont have a car. Any BYOB suggestions? I LOVE good BBQ

Just memorable things really. I am on a budget but enjoy everything. I am not picky. If you have something that is particularly memorable, that is what I am looking for. I dont care where it is.

Saturday LUNCH down near the Museum of Science and Industry

Hi!
I am going to be in the neighborhood of the Museum of Science and am looking for a good lunch place... any suggestions for a really great sandwich or bowl of soup? I might want something sweet afterward too so any bakeries down there I should check out?

Saturday night DINNER on the Magnificent Mile

Thank you! Tango Sur is on my list for sure! It appears as though they take reservations. Do you know what time they open? Is it better to go early? Any other meaty BYOB suggestions?

Saturday night DINNER on the Magnificent Mile

Help me pair it down folks! There will be three or four of us. BYOB is preferred. Something interesting, perhaps family style, tapas, meat is great, beer is better (local beers please). Could be a totally casual place. We would like to spend 15-20.00 per person. Please let me know if there might be a long wait at a restaurant you suggest, so I can plan ahead.

THANKS!

Chicago on Saturday for Lunch Shed Aquarium, Alder Planetarium and the Field Museum

Hi yeah, I imagine that it can be a lot to see all three and I may or may not try. I will be alone, which will make it easier to move right along. I am getting one of those "go chicago cards" which makes visiting whatever I want a pretty good deal.

Is there a specific cafe or anything inside of any of these places that is better than another? Or anything close nearby for a memorable sandwich, cupcake, cookie, burger, snack or the like?

I am going to check out these places on Saturday during the day. Where can I get lunch in this immediate area that is affordable and unique?

Dinner THIS FRIDAY Millenium Park Area

Staying at the Swissotel this Friday night. Looking for a nice place to get a bite to eat for dinner that is not pricey (we arent opposed to splitting things to save some cash). We are going to take a stroll around Millenium Park after checking in and then hope to get dinner nearby. I have looked at the Publican and The Gage, both of which look very cool but a bit pricey. We really like beer or a byob place.

Thanks!

Thanks Ms. Chow! for the recommends. I see that there is plenty on the forum to look at, but I don't have time to comb through the chaos... hence my post. :) Have you stayed at Swissotel? Did I make a good choice? It was difficult to decide where to stay!

WOW! All great so far! I am beginning to get addresses for all of these great sounding places so I can add them to my list. What about breakfast? Where is best? I now know that I will be staying at Swissotel on Wacker. Anything right near there?

How about spice shops, bakeries, or sweet shops that I should visit?

Has anyone had the fondue at Swisshotel? Is it worth it?

Chicago Foodie Marathon 4 days - big aspirations - need advice!

Hi
I am a foodie from Vermont. I will be traveling to Chicago October 17-20th. I have absolutely nothing on my agenda except for to EAT! So tell me... what should I do? What should I see? To be honest it is a bit overwhelming and I need some help.
Are there some great restaurants that I should try? Tell me about the hole in the wall places... the locals only joints... the places that specialize in one thing and do it REALLY well! I am on a budget so I dont really want to hear about fine dining folks.
What areas should I go to to find some really good markets or cool culinary shops? Are there any worth while culinary classes workshops or tours that I should check out?
I would love to know if there is anything special going on paticularly during those dates that I should take advantage of.

Thank You for your help!!
links to websites will help me if you have them.
