Pizzeria Napoletana HELP

I very much like the place - the pizza is great. It is a fast pace busy place, but not in a negative way. I would say that in general they will not mind if you sit for an 1h30, but how big is your group? I am not even sure if they take reservations.

Club Chasse et Peche - Very Disappointing Evening

glad to hear you are going to such "great" restaurants with your 5 year old. We do so as well with our 5 year old twins and they love it! (do you have any suggestions for other restaurants that you have been to with your kid?)
We have been to CC et P for a special birthday dinner and our experience was good, but in general I found it way to overpriced for what we got. I like feeling comfortable and well taken care off while having dinner and not like I am in a stiff and too dark of an athmosphere place (we went there in december).
Regarding the tipping: I like my privacy too, but I do not mind giving a restaurant feedback on their service via tip. As for the machines: I have seen both kinds throughout the city, sometimes the restaurants or shops try to make it easy for you by moving ahead for you in the process.

Company christmas dinner - yes the season is coming ...

Hi fellow chowhounds,

I am looking for recommendations for a restaurant for our holiday company dinner: we will be around 30 people, are looking for an upscale eating experience that is affordable and where the restaurant has a nice athmosphere to make everybody feel comfortable - from the experienced diner to the never eat out kind of crowd.

Last year we went to Decca 77 and it was great. It had a bar where we could mingle before sitting down for dinner, we were part of a bigger restaurant but had our own corner.

more details ... age over 60, used to European food and are afraid of the "typical" American breakfasts and dinners, are on a tight budget are open to explore international cuisine. The following experience I had once would be great for them: small Italien restaurant (8 tables) 2 choices on the menu that was a chalkboard and the food out of this world. Thanks.
