I have to second Louie's in Cumberland. If you are driving through on a weekend, they may even have the Brat wagon going. You can practically have lunch with all of the samples at the counter.

Good eats between Two Harbors and Lutsen [MN]
We had a really good breakfast at Lockport Market in Lutsen last fall. We have driven past the tiny gas station dozens of times never realizing what a little gem it was.
