Muffuletta Bread in Manhattan (or other Boroughs if need be)?

They make the muffuletta sandwiches there but I don't think they sell the bread wholesale.

Muffuletta Bread in NYC?

Anybody know where I can find a good loaf or Muffuletta? Ideally, it would be a bakery who could handle wholesale. Thanks!

Restaurant Auctions

Where can I learn about restaurant auctions in NYC? I know that a lot of restaurants that close down try to recoup some loses by auctioning off the kitchen equipment they don't need. Thanks!

Duck Fat for Frying

I'm looking to do some deep frying with duck fat so I need to source a large amount. Gallon size? Any ideas of where I can find this? I've looked around extensively and all I've found is small pint or quart size tubs at ridiculous prices. Thanks.

Looking for amazing Cuban restaurant!

Carteles @ 443 E. Sixth St. is a quaint restaurant with lively colorful designs. Their short, but tasty menu, lists various Cuban sandwiches including the traditional El Cubano and the Sloppy Joe. It is a great place for couples to dine in and just relax for the night.

Best "Old New York" Restaurants (stuck in the past)

If you are talking about the 1960's old, Chat n' Chew is your best bet! But if you're going for the American-Revolution-old, you should try Fraunces Tavern. And for the in-betweens, try 21 club.

Best sandwiches in Chelsea

You should try the sandwiches from Ronnybrook Milk Bar, and wash it down with a "Choco-Latte". I know it's a bit of a walk, but their fresh ingredients come straight from the farm itself and is certainly worth every step of the way.

Good Eats in/near Hell's Kitchen

Churrascaria Plataforma is a Brazilian restaurant that serves loads of meat on skewers. It's definitely an experience but it can be a bit pricey. For a fun, casual time with inexpensive prices, check out Hallo Berlin on 45th and 10th ave. It's a German beer bar that can be a fun drunken place.

Little Italy is a great place to see for an 11 year old. He'll love it and remember it forever. Try Il Cortile. It's a bit pricey but I think it's the best tasting of the Little Italy restaurants.

Manhattan Italian...

Ha ha. That's funny. In this case, Split means that they are no longer opening more together. But "ok" if you say so. This is getting a bit repetitive. I just appreciate you trying to correct me every step of the way. It's really fun. I'm sure I'll see you soon! Have a nice day.
