Bethesda Central Farm Market - good? Farmers markets further north?
I live in Gaithersburg and go to Kentlands almost every week, although I have been curious about the Bethesda one since SO would be able to go. I agree about the vendor all the way to the right (the guy who just had the baby) I grilled him about his pesticide and fertilizer use and he didn't contradict himself at all... which to me is a sign of lying and will ensure that I won't buy from you. There's only a few produce vendors but the selection is pretty good - and what i don't find I can get at the WF 3 steps away.
I didn't know about the one in Rockville. Is it bigger, and does it have meat/fish/cheese/etc? That's the one (large) category that I do wish Kentlands had...

PHX in November, light rail recommendations?
I will be in Phoenix for about a week in November, for a conference at the convention center downtown. I will be staying at the Crown Plaza which I understand is right on the light rail. I'm not planning on renting a car for the week, so proximity to light rail is key.
1. Any good breakfast options? Good coffee (real coffee, not whipped cream fanastical things) is a must, as is some kind of eggs or such. I am NOT a pastry kind of person and the continental breakfast served at my conference is probably not going to cut it for me. any suggestions on a good place where I can linger over a pot of coffee and the paper?
2. I've seen some good threads re: eating dinner alone at the bar, etc - any suggestions specifically that are close to light rail?
3. I am planning to drive out to taliesin one evening, so will need to rent a car for that night only. Any suggestions on dining stops on the way back?
