The wineries in Niagara are great to have a meal; La Cachette is a great place to dine if visiting Strewn winery; Hillebrand also has a great dining room.
Website for La Cachette: http://www.lacachette.com/ If you're visiting for dinner and love seafood, the salmon is great! My husband loves the beef tenderloin too. If you love wine and food pairings, La Cachette is always right on the nose with their pairings.
My mother and I will be visiting New York City for the first time in late November (just before Thanksgiving) and staying around Lexington Ave. and 49th Street and we were looking for some suggestions for rather inexpensive dining. We're looking for restaurants both close or within a relatively short cab drive that are casual or dress casual. We are mostly looking for great breakfast places that aren't jam packed and aren't just coffee houses, as well as restaurants for dinner where we could most likely just walk into instead of having reservations. I'd love some recommendations for both seafood and Italian restaurants. Also, are there any teppanyaki places?
Thanks in advance and I look forward to all of your suggestions!
