Don't know about Malbon Bros., but Whitner's does make a seriously good vinegar-based pulled pork sandwich and really good side dishes. Price is right too !

Totally disagree. Pulled pork is the real deal at Willard's.

Virginia Beach trip- what's good?
Ate recently at a fairly new BBQ joint called Whitner's BBQ, on Lynnhaven Parkway, near the mall. Excellent pulled pork and brisket, all homemade sides. Worth checking out.

Check out Whitner's BBQ on Lynnhaven Parkway for a great NC style pulled pork sandwich.
Very reasonably priced, not at all touristy.
