For something upscale, Mediterranean in Vineyard Haven is the best. It is set right on the water and the food and service is wonderful. If you're planning on heading to South Beach at all, try the Katama General Store on Katama Road. They have great sandwiches, salads and snacks that you can take to the beach.

I suggest stopping by the Katama General Store on Katama Road in Edgartown. They have a huge variety of great food, even groceries. Their fresh baked scones are a must! It is a good place to stop and pick up lunch on the way to South Beach. They have delicious home-cooked meals, too, if you feel like dining in one night.
