Solo dining suggestions in Seattle?

I'm traveling solo from San Francisco to Seattle Oct 2-5 and am curious about some good places to dine alone. Ideally, I'd like to sit at a bar in a restaurant. I'm open to all types of food.

I'm staying at the W Hotel and won't have a car, so somewhere relatively close would be nice, but I don't mind walking or venturing out a little further to a neighborhood gem.
