Hey guys, Have you been to Bistro Provence in Burbank. I went 3 times this past month and Loved it!!!! It's somewhat hidden in a Von's stripmall right next to a starbucks. Easy free parking!! The food and prices are amazing It's high end quality food that doesn't break the bank.....and how can you beat a $2 corkage fee. Yes, they have wine and beer, but it's nice to know you can bring your own bottle for just 2 bucks. We each had and appetizers. I had the Beet Napolen..roasted beets lyered with Goat cheese..YUM. The wife had homemade crispy Gnochi with cherry tomatoes , spinach and muchrooms. They were like little clouds that melted in your mouth. On to entrees. I had my new favorite dish I think of all time..The twice cooked pork. The waiter Bob described it in such a way I coudln't resist...and he was spot on with his recommendation. It was this amazing tender pork shoulder on a bed of this mixture of sauerkraut, bacon potatoe, and some diced apple. I had it again last night.
They have about 5 or 6 desserts..all made on the premises. We shared an Apple tartetin and this so good Lemon Curd thing with frsh strawberries and Meringue.
You goota give the hidden gem of a bistro a try.
Thanks Bob..he was our waiter
