I am happy to report that dinner was a smashing success at the Martini Bistro. The food was terrific, well priced, large portions and very edible. The drinks were great also. We will definitely go there again.

Any one have a suggestion for a casual place for 10 old friends to meet up for dinner and drinks in the Livingston, Short Hills, Millburn area. There are people coming from Monmouth county. Middlesex county and Bergen county in NJ and from New City in NY so we'd like to find somewhere in the middle. Doesn't have to be excellent gourmet, dining, just decent with a good bar. We are there for the company, not the atmosphere, but we don't want to eat swill either. I need a place for Saturday, 9/12.

Need a casual restaurant in the Short hIlls, NJ area
I'm looking for a casual, but nice restaurant in the Short Hills, Millburn, NJ area that can accomodate a party of 10, all over 50, that likes to have fun(=loud, but not obnoxious). Must have a decent bar! Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
