Can someone suggest a restaurant in the vein of Lucques, Osteria Mozza, Church & State..?

I was considering Cube but it also seems maybe a little too casual/country home-ish?

we like places that have a bit of a NY vibe, not all white tablecloth-y, but good food and wine...my other friend suggested aoc..

Please, all suggestions welcome. Eastside, West Hollywood, downtown, wherever..
