A good wine pairing or two for lamb ravioli with sage beurre blanc

I'm looking for a couple options for lamb, goat cheese and roasted red pepper ravioli with a sage beurre blanc. Roasted asparagus on the side. Thanks!

LIVE soft shells to take home?

Anyone know where to score some LIVE soft shell crabs around the Arlington/DC area? Or do I just need to go to the beach?

Asian (preferably Japanese focused) cookbook/tutorial that's easily accessible to a white boy?

I'm trying to get more into Asian cooking, with a strong interest in Japanese, but really just trying to learn more about all of it in general. Anyone know of any good books that could help me out that include recipes and general info??? Thanks!

Zaytinya: so much to eat, so little time

Veal cheeks are delish but my fav so far has been the grilled octopus... Might be time for another visit, actually.

Sauca food truck in DC... Are you experienced?

Heard about this from an email via Tasting Table (which has just expanded to DC).

"This new food truck makes its curbside debut at lunch today (around 18th and I streets NW, weather permitting) with a bazaar of popular flavors from around the world, all adapted into fillings for grilled flatbread sandwiches."...

..."The truck itself boasts a full kitchen, so food is cooked--rather than just warmed--onboard. And a sound system complete with microphones could lead to impromptu karaoke."

Baltimore - best spot for dinner these days?

An old friend is coming in to town and I live in DC...any suggestions on where to go in Baltimore for a tasty dinner and drinks? I was thinking Jack's but I guess they're not open on Tuesdays. Maybe the Brewer's Art, but I've been there and want to try something new. Thanks!

What are you drinking right now?

Just found Southern Tier PumpKing ale at Wholefoods...A little early in the season but it's easily my fav. pumpkin beer. Been sitting on a Cuvee 1 and Weyerbacher 14th for a while now so those may need be laid to rest this weekend. Anything is better than the Ithica Apricot Wheat I had last night, damnit.
