Iranian Bakery in Long Island?
Is there anywhere within reasonable driving distance from NYC where I can get fresh hot persian breads. Ideally sangak (doubt I'll find that) but would settle for barbari.
I recently tried the barbari at Mt. Ararat in Queens and it was pretty off/not fresh.
I understand there is a large Iranian [Jewish] community in the Great Neck area but have never been — is there possibly somewhere I could get decent bread from there?
Thanks
Where can I find Lemon Basil in New York?
I need it for a recipe but can't seem to find it anywhere. Any advice appreciated.

Where to get healthy lunch in LES/Chinatown?
My coworkers and I are stumped. Sick of dumplings, sick of crappy overpriced salads, etc. Is there nowhere to get a simple grilled salmon or something of the like?
Persian in the City?
I have been to Colbeh twice and don't think I'd go back again (I am Iranian). I think all the Persian restaurants in New York are quite mediocre but of them Ravagh is the best I've tried so far.
Gourmet Big Mac?
I'm looking for a place that makes their own version of a sandwich such as a Big Mac...i.e. sesame seed bun, thousand island special sauce, shredded lettuce etc. It is very specific, not just a burger.
I think this is a very common practice ("our version of a whopper") and I'm sure there must be at least one place in New York that does this, not sure why everyone is being so dismissive.
I like the taste of a big macs but don't want to eat gross meat.
Gourmet Big Mac?
Is there anywhere in the city to get a not-grade F version of fast food favourites like a Big Mac, Whopper, McChicken etc?
