Interesting restaurants near the Palmer House
Lockwood is right in the hotel. I haven't been but have heard great things. Rosebud Prime is an excellent steak house very close to there.

6 Days in Chicago - Please critique my list
I didn’t see Vie on this list. I guess the paramaters are Chicago. Really amazing though a drive.
I agree about Boka, it’s one of my favorites.
Alinea – what can I say that hasn’t been said, written, photographed, diaried and diagrammed? A true experience.
Nightwood – fantastic new addition to the scene. Simply lovely space, bright and enticing food.
Brunch at Green Zebra if they still do it – I love my bacon but it was shockingly good
