best ever breakfast
a few years ago I had just a morning in Portland and had the best breakfast ever. now I"m coming back and would like to find that restaurant again. It was downtown, because most businesses were closed as it was a Sunday morning. people were lined up outside which attracted me. It was on a corner. Possibly had a woman's name. I know this isn't much to go on but the breakfast was really the best meal ever. thanks
casual Sacramento downtown dinner
The Tower Cafe at Broadway and 18th is great. Great food, atmosphere, and wine. Casual-ish yes.
Dining around the State Capital in Sacramento/ Dining in Lake Tahoe
no need to detour to Amador County for wine. El Dorado County is just as good (which is great) and on a direct route between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. great wineries right off the highway are Lava Cap, Boeger, Madrona, and at Carson Road there are 4 in one spot.
In Sacramento for dinner try Hot Italian at 16th and Q for pretty much perfect pizza. And The Tower Cafe at Broadway and 18th is not to be missed. Great wine, food, and atmosphere.
