understood and apologies for any repetition. i've done a lot of searching on the site and definitely found some great information. tough to be more specific other than to say we're probably most interested in a great eating experience that represents the local cuisine at a high value (i.e., "quality price ratio" in wine speak).

Hi Folks!

We're headed to France later this week and would love any food recommendations you can provide? Details of our trip are as follows:

-Our trip actually begins in Barcelona as we land there on Thursday morning
-We're going to make our way up the Spanish coast stopping in Girona, Spain,
-Then to Beziers/Pezanas, France
-Then to Carcassonne, France
-Then to Saint Jean de Luz / Biarrittz / San Sebastian
-Finally, fly home from Bilbao, Spain

We'll have a car after Barcelona. Any help you can provide on food would be great and very much appreciated! Our first trip to all of these places! Budget is cheap to moderately expensive, but like anybody we love a good value.
