pre-concert dinner and drinks near inner harbor

A friend and I, in our late 30s, are coming to Baltimore for a concert at Pier 6 on a Sunday night. We're looking for a fun, lively, and delicious place to have dinner and drinks before the show. Not looking for a long three-course meal, but we don't want bar food either. Pretty open on type of cuisine and walking distance is preferred. Also, any thoughts on places for a drink after the show and non-chain shopping/eating areas or neighborhoods (can drive to these) for sunday and monday afternoons would be appreciated! Thanks!

Dinner near Patriot Center

Looking for a good restaurant to go to before a show at the Patriot Center in a month or so. We are a foodie couple who enjoy good food, wine, and microbrews (although the microbrews are not a must have). Would love to find a non-chain, neighborhood spot. Ethnic food is always good, but are open to anything. Anything nearby? If not, what are the closest options? thanks!

St. Simons, GA - Help!

After looking through recent posts for a good dinner out on St Simons, we settled on Georgia Sea Grill. It was completely uninspired and left the four of us disappointed. Nothing was memorable. The salad, seafood, steaks and desserts were so predictable and mediocre at best. The atmosphere was cozy, with a kind of homespun small town atmosphere, but the food was a real let down. We had a drink at Delaney's prior to our reservation at Georgia Sea Grill and were wishing we would have stayed.

Best Jose Andres restaurant in DC

I'm coming to DC in a couple of weeks. Lots of raves on the site about all of Jose Andres' restaurants. What are the differences? Which do you like best? Which has best food, drinks and atmosphere?

DC - ethnic neighborhood restaurants

we are looking to stay in the district. thank you!

DC - ethnic neighborhood restaurants

My husband and I are spending a weekend in DC in September. We're staying at the W Hotel (former Hotel Washington), but can travel to dupont, penn quarter, U street, georgetown etc. if we need to. We'd love to find a couple of good neighborhood restaurants for casual dining with a lively atmosphere - places where locals go, not visitors eating at the nicest restaurants in town. Really good food, but not necessarily expensive or high-end. Of particular interest are ethnic restaurants including mexican, middle eastern, italian, spanish...
thank you!

Anniversary weekend trip to Annapolis

My husband and I have scheduled a weekend getaway in Annapolis in mid Sept to celebrate our 10 yr wedding anniversary. We are early 40s and love good food and drink. Neither of us have been before. We are staying at the Westin and would like to take in all Annapolis has to offer.

Looking for recommendations for brunch/lunch restaurant - fun cafe with outdoor seating and good beer/wine selection would be ideal, any sightseeing/shopping we must do, and most importantly best dinner in town for celebrating a special occasion. A modern foodie restaurant - seafood and fresh/local ingredients with good atmosphere.

Also hints on fun place for a drink after dinner would be welcome. Thank you!
