Hi,

Looking for restaurant recommendations in the towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Harven, West Tisbury or Edgartown - spots for both causal dining and a special occasion dinner where we'd be comfortable with our 9 yr-old daughter. Several years back we ate at the Oyster Bar Grill in OB, and Mediterreano in Vineyard Haven, and enjoyed both.

Would also be interested in recommendation for fish store in Oak Bluffs/Edgartown, great bakeries, breakfast stops (familiar with Black Dog and Artcliff Diner) and spots for clam rolls and take out lunch.

Also, anyone know what's in the spot of the former Humphrey's on State Road in West Tisbury?

Can anyone suggest a good restaurant for a birthday celebration. Prefer to stay away from chains. We have tried Tavolino, Wildwood, Arturo's, Romaine's, Tomaso. Can't be too high end as we are with elderly parents. Thanks!

Any suggestions for restaurants in this area that can accomodate a group of 30 - 35 for a Friday evening party? On the Border and the Border Cafe are a no go. Has anyone held a function at the Sea Dog as their web site says they can accomodate groups up to 100. Paparazzi has a separate room -- so venues with a separate room would be ideal. Thanks!
