taipei - restaurants for a special occasion
I'm starting to plan an anniversary dinner for my gf and I. Based on some of the research so far, I've come across Robuchon's newest place in Bellavita. Other than that, does anyone else have recommendations?
It doesn't need to be western food, just great food in a "special occasion" environment. We pretty much eat anything and we love tasting menu's too!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

i've been to estia a few times now. both have been great experiences. if you're a fan of greek food and don't live too far from the philly area, you should try to make it out to cherry hill, nj to kuzina by sofia. i feel that the meals i've had here blow estia's out of the water...and they're very wallet friendly.

i've also heard ocean harbor is the place to go...though i still haven't been, the line is just too damn long. i've been to joy tsin lau (across the street) twice now and it's been satisfying.
