Anyone know where to get salt cod in the Boston area?
I saw them at Costco too. I think $5.99 lb. Label said Pacific salt cod. Anybody know about the quality considering the decent price?

Slightly OT but where do you buy the brisket you smoke? I've had the best luck with an untrimmed cryovac from Costco. You need to ask for it.

I would skip Santarpios. It's not worthy of your list. I used to be a fan. The worst thing is they just don't care and will argue with you if you complain. Better pizza elsewhere but I still like the lamb kabobs served at the bar.

Boneless Beef Short Rib Recipes
I would fill to between 1/3 to 1/2 up the side of the short ribs. I don't think beef broth is necessary since the short ribs will be generating their own broth.
Szechuan Beef
Interesting to note that in her book Land Of Plenty, Dunlop says that the Szechuan people favor pork over beef. That said, I love her Dry-fried Beef recipe.
