Where to eat between Toronto and Bancroft?
We're heading north for a camping trip, and will be doing Hwys 35/115N and then 28 towards Bancroft. Considering it's a 3 - 3.5hr drive, I'd love to stop somewhere local to nosh on the way. Any suggestions not too far off the beaten highway would be greatly appreciated!
Summerlicious 2011
We ended up for an impromtu dinner at Southern Accent on Markham St, not even realizing it was participating in Summerlicious. Despite it being prime time Friday evening seating, they were kind enough to squeeze us in and boy, were we ever glad they did!
Granted, it had been a good 15 years since we'd been but it was as delicious as I remembered it to be. From the Summerlicious menu, we went with hush puppies with alligator, avocado bruschetta, jambalaya, a really amazing BBQ trio with fabulous andouille sausage with chicken & chop, creme brule & bourbon bread pudding.
Lots of sangria to wash it down and life is good!

...where would you go?
I'm travelling with a friend who is determined to "do" a Vegas buffet. There needs to be something decent. right? :)
