Cocktails that go well with BBQ
A great summer/BBQ cocktail is an update to the classic Arnold Palmer (lemonaid and ice tea), simply substitute any of the Sweet Tea flavored vodkas (I prefer Firefly brand) for the ice tea portion. Can be made as strong or as weak as you desire.
Tri tip roast
Keep it simple. A dry rub and cook to medium rare, let rest and slice thin. I agree w/ Nosh, a good char is best.
Bourbon Trail Tours
Traveling through Kentucky in May and have time to visit 1 or 2 bourbon distilleries. Does anyone have a recommendation on which are the best tours. I've been told the Beam tour is the best. Thanks for any help .
Off- Strip Dive Bars/ Las Vegas
I've got a car so distance is no concern.....have done Fremont and slots of fun, looking for a "non casino" bar....more like a neighborhood type of bar, buffalo wings, pizza, etc.
