Which restaurant in Palm Beach?

I tried The Grove in Delray and liked it. The food was excellent but the Mai's were served lukewarm.

Looking for great fresh food - Boca - Palm Beach area

Last time in Florida the restaurants we liked best were Michael's Genuine in Miami and Table 26 in West Palm. I can't seem to see much about Table 26...any opinions?

Going to be staying in Boca Raton and willing to drive a bit for restaurants whose chefs use fresh local ingredients and hopefully somewhat creatively. (i.e. NO frozen fish which we found the last visit.) Since we're coming from New York, we also don't want a branch of a NY restaurant.

Thanks for your help

what about Local? Or...?

I haven't seen much about Local. I'm trying to decide between Local, CBD Provisions or Stephen Pyles for a real feel of Texas.

Any suggestions?

Need Phoenix advice

I will be in Phoenix for 4 days and am looking for suggestions of restaurants whose chefs use fresh local ingredients somewhat creatively and preferably with some authentic local character. We live in New York want the flavor of the Southwest not a great French restaurant.

We were last in Phoenix several years ago and liked FnB and Kai.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Ithaca advice needed

We will be driving to Ithaca from New York next weekend and are looking for current recommendations. A few I saw on older Chowhound posts are now closed.

I prefer chefs that use fresh, high quality, local ingredients somewhat creatively. I have booked Hazelnut Kitchen for one night but I'd like some place IN Ithaca or closer to town for the first night. I didn't see too much here about Banfi but I've heard that its not that good.
Also, any Sunday brunch suggestions.

Seeking advice for the best of Minneapolis

From what I'm getting, I'll skip Bachelor Farmer. OK, I'll do Alma and Piccolo. Don't want to do La Belle Vie because it sounds like white tablecloth French and I do go to Paris fairly frequently. For the last dinner, do I do Butcher & The Boar or Sea Change?

Seeking advice for the best of Minneapolis

I just found out that I will only have time for three dinners! Seems like Alma is on almost every list...which means only 2 others. I'm going to have the opportunity for only ONE lunch and I was thinking of making it Fika.

Any suggestions to help me decide which of these to eliminate?

Seeking advice for the best of Minneapolis

I'm a New Yorker going to Minneapolis for the first time. Normally my travels take me internationally so I'm looking for restaurants where the chef's use fresh local ingredients with a local flavor somewhat creatively. Looking for interesting LOCAL food thats well crafted - no chains and no Mexican or Asian. I've also Heard that there is a "nouveau Scandanavian" movement there too, that I'd like to try.

Here is the list I've culled from chowhound and other digging on the internet. We only have 4 to maybe 5 dinners to narrow down to. No time for breakfast or lunch.

Love your advice! Thanks

What is the difference between the back dining room where Cal Pep does take reservations and other parts of the restaurant? And, yes,you are correct - they did not take my reservation.

Need Barcelona advice!

Need advice for a 7 night trip to Barcelona in Mid May. I already know that we cannot get into Tickets. I’m looking for the best creative flavor of Barcelona however I do have some dietary restrictions, which I do realize, may make it difficult. I do not eat any meat but I'm also highly allergic to shellfish (can eat other fish). I’d love a mix of the new creative or molecular AND some really great traditional Catalan. Also, the best tapas after Tickets. So far, I booked Cal Pep and Ca l’lsidre.

Others that I culled from postings are:
Moo Restaurant
Cinq Sentits
Hisop
Comerc24
Alkimia
Hofman
Sauc (heard that its not as good since it moved to Ohla Hotel)
Can Gaig
Paco Meralgo. Tapas
Gelonch
Ot ? is this still open
Casa Calvet
La Mar Salada
Llamber
La Estrella

Has anyone been to Sesamo – a vegetarian? Also, want to know about El Quatre Gats and Espai Sucre with a dessert tasting menu.

Thanks for any help I can get to narrow down
