NEED ADVICE - Lucques, Hatfield's, Osteria Mozza or ?
We're going to be in LA for my birthday. I'm looking for really good food creatively using fresh local ingredients. We're coming from New York and frequently travel internationally so we'd like a California experience.
We're open to other suggestions, too.
Thanks!
Need a local's opinions on several Miami restaurants
We will be in South Beach for 3 nights and want really GREAT food...fresh local ingredients with the flavor of Florida, new American, Caribbean, etc.
Please give me your opinions on these for dinners.
THANKS!

HELP looking for really great food AND water views
Thanks so much for your suggestions!
We're also fine with driving further.....can be as far as Lauderdale in case there are other options especially something right on the water rather than on a high floor looking at the ocean from a distance. FOOD is most important. From Monty's menu on their website, it isn't my kind of place.
HELP looking for really great food AND water views
We will be in South Beach for 3 nights and want really GREAT food...fresh local ingredients with the flavor of Florida, new American, Caribbean, etc. but we'd also like water views. Originally we weren't going to have a car but have decided to rent one so we have more options.
Been to Michael's Genuine, Casa Tua and Michy's and really loved the food. Don't want to go back to Joe's Stone Crab this time...prefer great food AND water views.
Any advice???
How's the food at the Royale (Raleigh Hotel)
oops....forgot to say we don't want to do Joe's again
How's the food at the Royale (Raleigh Hotel)
I love the ambience of the garden but the quality of the food is more important! We're coming from winter so want to get a real Florida (outdoor) experience but GREAT FOOD comes first.
We loved Michy's and Michael's Genuine but may not have a car this time
Any recommendations in South Beach?
Best of the BEST in South Beach NOW???
Thanks tpigeon! And I am NOT dead set on doing Italian at all and definitely do not want a NYC red sauce joint! It just seemed that other than Joe's, Italian restaurants kept popping up on the posts here. Would love to find a chef doing new American with a Florida twist if that exists
Best of the BEST in Tampa???
Need suggestions for really GREAT food creatively using fresh local ingredients.
I've culled this from many posts and would love your advice in narrowing down for only 3 nights.
Thanks!

Best of the BEST in South Beach NOW???
Other than Joe's Stone Crab that everyone seems to recommend, what are the best choices for great food using fresh local ingredients. Seems like a lot of Italian on many of the posts. Which are the best of Osteria del Teatro, Macaluso’s, Escopazzo, Grazie Italian Cuisine? We went to Casa Tua last year and liked it.
We're coming for 3 days from New York so we'd prefer to do Italian only one night and get some other Florida experiences.
Two NY 'hounds in need of recs for three days to eat in Miami!
Tpigeon What is the website for the miami restaraunt power ranking website???
TAMPA ADVICE
THANK YOU!
It seems that Pane Rustica has more comments than Osteria Natalia. We're having to cut the trip short. Any other suggestions as to edit for 3 nights? Being from New York, is one of these really GREAT Italian? If not, I'd rather skip Italian anne go for more Florida flavor.

Need help to find best Houston has to offer!
I was told $35. each way not including tip by the concierge. I'm a New Yorker who is really terrified of having to drive a car. I prefer to use taxis but would rather put that money into the food or better wine. Wanted to try some suggestions as Haven, Stella Sola, Philippe, etc.
Need help to find best Houston has to offer!
Just found out that some of the suggestions will be $75. taxi rides. What are the very best I can do that are CLOSE to downtown - NOT steah houses.
Thanks
Need help to find best Houston has to offer!
Thanks, Lambower! Their menu sounds great. We're going at the end of the month so I'll definitely reserve this.
Need help to find best Houston has to offer!
Thanks. These sound good. Will be there for 4 days...any others? Forgot to mention, we don't want to do BBQ (I'm not meat eater)

Looking for a restaurant with relatively inventive cuisine using fresh local ingredients
I'd prefer high quality American, Texan or Southwest not French, Italian, Japanese, thai, etc. We are spoiled New Yorkers so we want to taste the best of Houston, not branches of places we have in New York.
The closer to downtown the better as we won't have a car and don't want to spend too much on cabs.
NEED GREAT suggestion for lunch in Napa
We're New Yorkers visiting the Napa area for a day and a half. We love chefs that use fresh local ingredients creatively but our budget is not French Laundry. So far we reserved the CIA for one lunch and Cynthia's Backstreet Kitchen for dinner. We'd like to have a lunch in Napa on our way to SF rather than further north.
Thanks so much for any recommendations you can give.

Looking for GREAT Southwestern cuisine
Thanks so much! We'll definitely reserve this but we need a few more as we're there in Phoenix for 4 nights. What is your opinion of Noca, FnB, Quiessence and Brinkley's that have been recommended to me.

Looking for GREAT Southwestern cuisine
We are looking for restaurants that use fresh locally grown ingredients creatively that give the flavor of the Southwest. We live in New York so don't want Thai or Italian or other cuisines we can get at home.... just great American Southwestern when we visit.
Thanks!
NEED suggestion New Canaan, Westport, Stamford CT area
Thanks but unfortunately closed on Monday! Anything else?????
HELP!!! need high quality suggestion Westport, Stamford, New Canaan area open on Memorial Day
We are going to the Phillip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan CT this weekend and need a recommendation for a good quality restaurant with high quality locally sourced ingredients for lunch.
We will have a friend coming from Paris so we'd prefer to show her great American dining.
If at all possible, I'd love something on the water or with scenic views....I know I'm asking a lot.
Thanks

need Tampa advice for best food
Thanks! Unfortunately, we're only able to get out for dinners as we're tied up with business all day.
So, I'm guessing I should drop Oystercatchers if we're going to Armanis....is the view the same?
Is there another GREAT fish restaurant where we can get the local flavor of Florida? More casual is OK as long as the food is really good.
Coming to SOBE Miami for special birthday weekend...need advice
We'd love restaurants that use fresh local ingredients. We're New York foodies so altho we do want some special places, we don't want Nobu or other restaurants from chefs we have in NY. Two years ago had the birthday at Michy's.
We're thinking one night Italian either -
Alta mare
Sardinia Enoteca
Osteria del Teatro
And one evening something romantic but the food MUST be good! choices are -
Wish
Royal at The Raleigh - can't find much on the food but love the ambiance
And, one evening, possibly going to Design District unless there is a DO NOT MISS suggestion.
Please give your advice.

need Tampa advice for best food
We will be in Tampa on business from NYC for 3 nights and after looking at many of your posts are trying to decide which to choose. We will be staying at the Hyatt - not the one with Armani's and will have some access to a car but don't want to drive too far..
We like places that use high quality locally sourced ingredients creatively and preferably some local flavor (FLORIDA not Asian or French) Good food is the key - doesn't have to be formal service.
Here are the places that I've gleaned from the posts. Please give your advice.
Thanks
