Homemade spinach and 3 cheese ravioli that my husband made at home. He worked and worked to research the dough, filling, sauce, etc. Then spent all day shopping and cooking. It was a delicious event!

have unlimited time and funds so that I could do a food tour of every city large and small and soak up the local flavors and favorites. I just plain love food, eating it...cooking it, talking about it and making it!

I tend to like local...so, little joints in my home town and surround are my favorites. I like places that are "great" at only a few things and that's what I go there for.
My most tattered cookbooks:
Crazy but true...my Grandma's copy of Betty Crocker's Cookbook. I inherited it from her and still love to page through it for her notes and scribblings. And...frankly, when I want a great basic recipe...it's my go to place. Mary Emmerling's American country Cooking...great regional recipes. Must try that Cinnamon Crumb Topped Apple pie. YUM!
