D.C. late night bars, food

Thanks for all of the input

D.C. late night bars, food

We are staying one block from the Verizon Center at the Fairfield Inn (might have been a Red Roof before). I've heard the Penn Quarter Sports Tavern is the place. I hope so; probably will be there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

D.C. late night bars, food

Have heard about the areas around Georgetown or George Washington, Adams Morgan, and Dupont Center. Stayed at L'Enfant Plaza two years ago to go to a game.

Got a dozen or so people traveling from my sports bar in Oswego, NY to Washington DC in mid-June to see the Yankees play the Nationals. Our ages range from 25-60 and we are a partying, stay up late drinking group. We are looking to stay in an area that has a lively nightlife with late night food and bars (sports bars, Irish pubs, etc). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Crawfish in Montreal???

I used the www.lacrawfish.com people for my first crawfish boil in June at my sports bar in Oswego, NY. Charged $40 per person for crawfish(90#), shrimp(30#), and alligator meat(10#) for jambalaya. Ordered too much crawfish. The Louisiana people say to judge 3# of crawfish per person but I noticed that New Yorker's don't quite wolf them down like Louisianans. This company's product and service was great. Only problem is that they are only available in the spring(March-June). I highly recommend them.

Olive Garden: Undeserved Reputation?

I think it may have Godfather's Pizza. Been closed for a long, long time.

Olive Garden: Undeserved Reputation?

I'm from Oswego. Which "mom & pop" place are you talking about?

Rehearsal dinner - Raleigh/Durham, NC

I'm guessing around 30 people, maybe averaging $20 per person (maybe more/maybe less). (From upstate NY, not positive but for my wedding 6 years ago is was only $16 a head. Not a fancy place, but not sure what the going rate is somewhere else.) Not sure of what my parents want to spend, just trying to help them out. Regular American fare, most likely buffet style would be alright. No must have/must have nots for the menu. We're staying at the DoubleTree Guest Suites in Durham. The wedding and reception are both at the hotel, so I think they want the rehearsal dinner somewhere else. Thanks for helping.

Rehearsal dinner - Raleigh/Durham, NC

My brother is getting married in Durham on Friday July 9th and my parents are in charge of the rehearsal dinner. Problem is, all of the family is from upstate NY and have never been to the Raleigh/Durham area. Any recommendations for a place for a rehearsal dinner? Thanks in advance.

Looking for Biker Bar on way or near Oswego

Dominick's used to next to the speedway. It has now moved to Ct Rte 29 in Scriba. Woodchuck Tavern(near Fort Ontario), Humphrey's(Barker Road), and Bodees(Route 48, between Fulton and Oswego) are also known as "biker" bars. Other Oswego "Roadfood" places would include Rudy's, Wade's Diner, and the Oswego Sub Shop.

Shamingly, I should plug my own place, Greene's Ale House & Grille(corner of W.8th and Bridge)
