Late night eats on a Sunday--MSP

Have a friend flying into town at 8:45 Sunday night. Any ideas as to where we could grab some food around 9:30? Any food is fine as long as its good.

Ramps in MSP

Out east ramps are showing up in the farmers markets. I was just wondering if anyone had seen them around here, or when the general time to expect them was.

MSP: Duck Fat

My friend and i are going to start experimenting with doing our own confit duck and goose. I want to see if we can do it in the new slow cooker he got.

MSP: Duck Fat

I need to purchase duck fat or goose fat in a relatively large quantity: approx one quart/ 2lbs. I can render it myself if necessary...any ideas as to where I could get this? Preferably if there were a local farm that I could get it from and render myself, it would be ideal.

MSP Area Organic Apple Orchard

Does anyone know of an organic apple orchard around the area that will allow people to come and pick apples?

What are people's thoughts on where to find the best pierogies in town?

Chinatown Brasserie--review

Went there for lunch on Sunday. After getting over the initial sticker shock of the menu we ordered the shrimp and chive dumplings, the super thin noodles with scallops and shrimp, the soup dumplings, the bean curd skin rolls and the beef salad. The food was good( surprisingly the nest thing was the beef salad which was the most incongruous dish based on the menu), but not great and definately did not justify the price. Would not recommend this place given the fact that much better dim sum can be obtained in Chinatown and even better in Flushing. I would have thought that for the premium price we would receive amazing dim sum which sadly was not the case. Given the fact that the place was completely empty I don't think it will last all that long.
